Eee Pad – the new iPad killer

Asus anounce at Computex 2010 a new series of Eee line, the Eee Pad.

Eee Pad will be availble in the near future in 2 versions: 10.1 inch (Asus Eee Pad EP101TC) and 12.1 inch (Asus Eee PC EP121).

Very little information about the technical specifications of the new pads are known but Eee Pad 12.1-inch (EP121) will be equipped with Core 2 Duo processor CULV and Windows 7. The EP101TC (10.1 inch) will have Windows Embedded Compact 7 as Operating Sistem.
The new Eee Pads have a capacitive touchscreen, a USB port, headphone and microphone input and a webcam (iPad lacks an integrated webcam)

Engadget have a movie clip from Computex 2010 witch present the new Asus Eee Pads.

Windows alternative and … is not from Linux world

Looking throw new operating systems yesterday I found something very surprising. A alfa release of a new operating system named ReactOS.

You will ask what is so surprising on this? This ReactOS is a free open source alternative to Windows and his kernel is based on NT kernel witch is used on Windows NT, 2000, XP, Vista and now in Windows 7.

ReactOS team have something wonderful in mind, to give Windows comunity a free operating source witch support every application you can download and use now just in Windows.

You can try the new Alpha release of ReactOS in your machine or in a virtual machine but attention it is just a Alpha version and it need much more time to grow in a real OS.

Virus found HTML/Framer

Yesterday my antivirus (AVG 8.5) went craizy all day. After a while I found that HTML/Framer virus is a malicious code inserted in index.php, index.htm, index.html and all pages containing index in his name.

How can you get rid of it? First edit your index files and look for

where http://malicious adress usualy is a .nl adress.
Remove all iframe from your site (the ones you didnt put into pages) and anounce your hosting provider. Virus is on his server.
