How to find your IP and MAC number in Windows and Linux

Windows 95/98/Me/2000/2003/XP/Vista/Win7 Click on Start and then Run In the Run type “cmd” In the new screen type “ipconfig /all” You will find for every ethernet card all info like IP, Physical Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway . In Linux all versions Open Terminal Window Type “ifconfig”
